OGATA invites you to experience the practice of ZAZEN during a special event organised in collaboration with AGOBAY. Please choose one of the two sessions: Session 1 Saturday, June 20, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM (90 minutes) You will be welcomed at SABO, our sanctuary dedicated to tea, located beneath the stone vaults of the townhouse basement. After being served tea at the large counter, the monk Tosei will guide you into a seated meditation session in near darkness, illuminated only by candlelight. Session 2 Sunday, June 21, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (90 minutes) The session will take place in OGATA’s main hall, beneath the large ceiling of glass cubes diffusing the natural morning light. Following a tea service to prepare body and mind, you will be invited to sit on one of the zabuton cushions for a seated meditation session upon the luminous white stone of this cathedral-like space. *It is possible to extend the experience with the ASAZEN, a Japanese breakfast inspired by the cuisine of Buddhist monks served at SABO, our tea space located downstairs. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) are valid from 23 March 2021. They replace any other form of general terms and conditions of sale previously in force relating to the sale of commercial offers.
