This time, we will focus on learning how to compose precise blends to get a memorable cup of tea.

Sencha, a worldwide popular type of green tea from Japan, notably known for its very unique taste and its health benefits. What are the key elements that makes a Sencha so different that other green teas around the world ? During this workshop, we will experience the richness and diversity of Sencha by comparing three very specific kinds : Futsûmushi Sencha, Fukamushi Sencha & Kabusecha.

In ancient times, long before Sencha and Gyokuro, japanese had Bancha. Regional teas with a long history and a wide diversity of styles and manual techniques. In this unit, let’s go back in time and find out about these countryside teas, their specificities and unique experiences they can offer.
