Sencha, a worldwide popular type of green tea from Japan, notably known for its very unique taste and its health benefits. What are the key elements that makes a Sencha so different that other green teas around the world ? During this workshop, we will experience the richness and diversity of Sencha by comparing three very specific kinds : Futsûmushi Sencha, Fukamushi Sencha & Kabusecha.

Hōjicha
Roasted tea is a true experience of the five senses. In this unit, we will focus together on roasting different types of tea, the artisanal way. In doing so, we will be able to comprehend the different levels of roasting, from light to deep but also what base we can use for that purpose. Eventually, we will taste them in a comparative way.
